Very low frequency (VLF) insulation testing

The very-low frequency insulation testing is actually an alternative method to the power frequency withstand voltage test. Using a 0.1Hz very-low frequency withstand voltage test not only has the same effectiveness but also significantly reduces the volume and weight of the equipment. The capacity theoretically is about one five hundredth of the power frequency and the operation is simple.

Features

VLF High voltage generator comes with a 7-inch touch screen, a ARM7 single-chip microprocessor for automatic storage, and automatic printing.
Technologically advanced: digital frequency conversion technology and microcomputer control ensures automatic process of boosting, lowering, measuring, and protection during testing.
Multiple protections (overvoltage protection, high and low side overcurrent protection), rapid action (action time ≤ 10ms).
The controller and high-voltage generator are connected by low voltage, making it safer with photoelectric control.
A high and low voltage closed-loop negative feedback control circuit ensures no capacitance rise effect on output.
Multiple frequency options of 0.1Hz, 0.05Hz, and 0.02Hz allows for a wide testing range.
High-speed AD acquisition circuit and USB background management software are equipped.
Input voltage of 220V AC 50HZ/60HZ can be used universally.
